Best wine trip I've ever been on. We had an excellent time. Mladen was an excellent host. It was a great treat to get to visit Mouton and Margaux. We also really loved Chateau Kirwan and the excellent lunch of Preserved Duck Parmentier. We did not really know what to expect. The food, the wine, the truffle hunting, the cooking class were all terrific. Not too much time spent on the bus. The private tour of the Vatican was so inspiring and wonderful. It would be very hard to replicate this trip as an individual. This is a unique experience to meet some great new people, taste some delicious wine and to learn more about them. This is a trip anyone who has not been to Italy can enjoy as can people like us who have already visited Italy numerous times.

The trip exceeded expectations — plenty of pleasant surprises popping up around the itinerary. This Bordeaux trip seems somewhat unique because of the reputation, long history, and 7000 Chateaux, and each of the properties we visited brought something new and different. Final evening was a glorious crescendo — the visit to Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte, wine tasting in the garden, the band playing authentic American music, and then the spectacular Michelin 2 star meal with a country flair — again, unforgettable.
