My 30-year career spans from hotel sales and event planning to luxury travel design. Once I entered the travel industry, I never found anything else more exciting. One of the true highlights in my career was the position of Concierge Manager onboard The World, the largest private residential ship on the planet and the finest address for the ultimate luxury. I managed a very dynamic day-to-day operation of various destination programs, expeditions, luxury overland journeys, and private travel requests. Later on, this experience was complemented by a promotion that took me to the headquarters of The World in Ft. Lauderdale. Spearheading destination planning in more than 60 countries, I scouted unique luxury program options in hundreds of destinations around the world and recommended high-end travel experiences to The World’s well-traveled, affluent audience.

I have lived, studied, and worked in Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland, Czechia and the USA. Being a world traveler, I travel extensively and frequently. Each one of the 90+ countries I have visited through the years has left a trace in me and shaped my joyful personality. My specialization is in luxury Wine & Dine journeys, Active & Adventure travel (expedition cruising & safaris), Private Jet expeditions, and bespoke private itineraries worldwide. It is a privilege to be able to take my clients behind the scenes with insider access that others would only dream of.

I believe that travel makes everyone a better person. When done right, travel makes you more interesting, it makes you smarter, it makes you more tolerant, and it makes you happy. It offers the opportunity for new culinary experiences. It exposes you to different cultures and traditions. It introduces you to interesting people. And thus – it makes you richer every time you come back home.

Joy Simeonova has credentials from the US Travel Institute (CTC - Certified Travel Counselor), a Master’s Degree in International Tourism from the University of Economics in Varna (Bulgaria), and a Diploma in Marketing & Management from the Institute of Economic Development in Vienna (Austria). Her desire to negotiate the best conditions for her clients inspired her to graduate from the Negotiation Mastery course at Harvard Business School.
